Secondary Special Education Teacher (25-26)
Iola High School is seeking a secondary special education teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
The teacher may tailor lessons to a secondary individual student's needs or assist students with especially challenging assignments.
The position may also require the individual to monitor and record a secondary student's progress or behavior in an effort to better meet a student's needs.
The individual may also work closely with the secondary teachers to prepare lesson plans that best fit the needs of their students.
The Special Education Teacher may also attend classes for identified students to help them better understand the content in which they are expected to learn, to stay on task, and to complete assignments.
This individual will be responsible for documentation, filing, and appropriate paperwork, while working closely with the SpEd Coop.
Salary is dependent upon years of experience.
All applicants must submit a separate application for a criminal background authorization.
