Baseball Coach
Iola High School is seeking an Baseball Coach for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.
Possible teaching fields include CTE.
Possible other coaching duties TBD.
Primary Purpose:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned
Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of overall operations of an athletic program;
Knowledge of state and UIL policies governing athletics;
Experience:
One year student teaching or approved internship plus successful teaching and coaching experience
Salary is dependent upon years of experience and appropriate coaching stipends.
