Dyslexia Teacher
Provide students with dyslexia and other related learning difficulties with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
Excellent teaching skills
Knowledge of assigned curriculum, State assessment objectives, and best practices for instruction
Knowledge of Academic and/or Behavior Plan goal setting process and implementation
Demonstrated ability to manage student’s academic needs and behavior
Strong organizational, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills
Successful experience as a dyslexia designee preferred
